*Ingredients :
°The meatballs I used are about 1 1/2 dozen homemade meatballs **The meatballs were fully cooked
°24 ounce jar of marinara sauce, I used San Marzano sauce
°1/2 yellow onion, diced
°3 crushed garlic cloves
°1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
°2 tablespoons of olive oil
°3/4 spaghetti noodles
°1-2 cups shredded cheese I used half Colby Jack and half mozzarella
°1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
*instructions :
In a large cast iron skillet, saute onions in olive oil over medium/low heat. Add the garlic and continue to sauté until the onions soften.
Add the cooked meatballs.
Add the marinara sauce and 1 teaspoon of the Italian seasoning.
Heat over medium/low heat for 20-30 minutes.
In a separate large saucepan, cook spaghetti according to package directions (under cooking, 2 minutes).
With a large slotted spoon, spoon meatballs from sauce and set aside.
Put the cooked pasta (with a large slotted spoon) into the marinara sauce. Add about 1/2 cup of the pasta cooking water. Stir gently so that the pasta is completely covered in the sauce.
Add the cooked meatballs over the pasta.
Top with grated cheese and Parmesan cheese.
Bake at 350* for approximately 20-30 minutes or until heated through and cheese melts.
